IMPACT
What we build,
and who it’s for
Somewhere tonight, a woman is looking for a shelter bed. A tenant is trying to find out whether they have to leave their apartment. Someone is working up the nerve to book a first counselling appointment.
Often the thing standing between people and help is a website. That’s the work. Not the websites themselves, but what happens when they’re built with care – and what happens when they aren’t. It’s why we became a B Corp™, and it’s why we measure what we do.
WHERE WE’RE STARTING FROM
B Corp™
We were certified as a B Corp™ in April 2026 with a score of 105. Certification requires 80. The median for businesses completing the assessment is 50.9.

This is our first certification. It’s the baseline we’ll report against each year.
THE CERTIFICATION
What it says
about us.
Our strongest scores are Workers and Customers. Most of the Customers score comes from what B Lab calls an Impact Business Model – points awarded when a company is structured to create a specific benefit for a particular group. B Lab looked at who we work for and concluded that this business is built around serving mission-driven organizations.

Through the certification process, we also amended our corporate governing documents so all stakeholders, not only shareholders, must be considered in company decisions. It’s the least visible part of certification and the part that matters most: these commitments outlast whoever is running the company.
IN PRACTICE
What that looks like
in the work.
Every project gets this, including our pro bono work.
01
Trauma-informed
Design and content decisions made with an understanding of the crisis and systemic harm many end users are navigating.
02
Accessible
WCAG-aligned accessibility on every project – not an add-on scoped in when the budget allows it.
03
Privacy-aware
Privacy proportionate to how sensitive the context is, from shelter locators to health intake forms.
GIVING BACK
Making room for work
that can’t pay.
We commit at least 5% of our annual billable capacity to pro bono and discounted work for nonprofits, charities, public sector partners, and community groups. When more organizations apply than we can take on, we prioritize gender-based violence, housing, food insecurity, and accessibility work.
Every team member also has 20 hours of paid volunteer time a year, so there are multiple ways to give back.
Our next intake opens in May 2027 for a July start. If your timing doesn’t fit that window, get in touch anyway.
People who stay
Long-term partnerships,
all around.
OUR TEAM
Our team of six has been here, on average, for more than thirteen years. Being fully remote is part of the reason why. It lets us hire the right person, regardless of where they live in Canada. It also lets people have a working life that complements the rest of their lives.
That tenure means the people who build your project will still be here when you need them again. They’ll already know your organization, your history, and why things were built the way they were.

Our clients
Our client relationships run on the same clock. Of the 66 organizations we worked with in 2025–2026, 29 have been with us for at least ten years. 3 have been with us for more than twenty years – nearly as long as the company has existed.
Relationships that long stop being a series of projects. They become a system that grows with the organization, through funding cycles, staff changes, and mandates that shift.

Early in the work
Truth and
Reconciliation.
We are committed to building respectful relationships with Indigenous-led organizations, and we are early in that work.
September 30
Starting in 2026, we observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a paid company holiday. Ontario does not require private employers to recognize it – we want our team to have the day to learn and take part in ways that are meaningful to them.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Read our
impact reports.
Each year we publish an impact report with the full figures: organizations served, volunteer hours, pro bono capacity delivered, team data, and where we fell short. Every report stays here permanently.

2025–2026 Impact Report
This report covers the year ended June 30, 2026. Since our next B Corp™ certification is not until 2029, the figures are our own rather than B Lab-verified, and we say so throughout.
Our fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30.
